No one gets ahead in life or progresses without practicing kindness to others. Putting their\u00a0needs before our own, working on making life better for others, and keeping the focus off of ourselves helps us to succeed in life. \u00a0It generates <strong><em>happiness<\/em><\/strong> in the world\u00a0and allows that energy to come back into our life with abundance. \u00a0Being kind doesn&#8217;t take a lot of money, effort, or time. It does require <em><strong>awareness<\/strong><\/em>, however.<\/p>\n<p>Take every opportunity to<em><strong> complement<\/strong><\/em> those around you with sincere words of appreciation. \u00a0I am not talking about meaningless words that praise but lack sincerity. \u00a0I am talking about noticing the gifts <!--more-->of your friends, co-workers, and family. \u00a0Each of us is created with a special\u00a0set of gifts and talents that is uniquely ours. \u00a0Who do you know who has a great singing voice, \u00a0a talent with fashion, or can build and fix\u00a0anything? \u00a0Notice, appreciate, \u00a0and tell them how much you admire their gifts. \u00a0Take real <em><strong>joy<\/strong><\/em> in the accomplishments of those around you. <em><strong>Celebrate<\/strong><\/em> their successes.<\/p>\n<p>With that being said, please make sure to notice your<strong><em> own<\/em><\/strong> contributions to the world. \u00a0You are as unique and gifted as the rest. \u00a0Compliment yourself and love and appreciate the things that make YOU special as well.<\/p>\n<p>When kindness and <strong><em>appreciation<\/em><\/strong> are part of your daily life, you can&#8217;t help but be <em><strong>successful<\/strong><\/em> and much happier.<\/p>\n<p>With kind regards,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Teresa<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A key component in living a successful life is kindness.
